AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to be based in Denver, Colorado. This position is expected to begin in May/June 2023, although exact start date is flexible.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and schematic drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. Performs quantity takeoffs of project structural components. Staff Engineers are responsible for performing specific tasks and limited portions of broader assignments and will receive close supervision, guidance, and mentoring from experienced engineers in the office.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam or capability to take the exam within 1 year of start date. Experience/interest in structural concrete design and structural steel design. Interest in hydraulic structures and water resources projects. Valid Driver’s License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in structural engineering or 2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of the following software: AutoCAD, Microsoft products, Mathcad, SAP2000, or other structural modeling software.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is $60,029.5-$80,665.57/annually (exempt).
