We deliver our services—from environmental planning studies to detailed design, construction management, and operations and maintenance—to a wide range of public and private sector clients. Our public sector work encompasses everything from small rural communities, to large urban centers, to agencies with regional responsibilities. Our private sector work includes assignments for multiple commercial/industrial sectors, including oil and gas, chemicals, power, food and beverage, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals. https://aecom.com/markets/water/ **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Conducts engineering design under the supervision of anexperienced engineer. + Creates designs, calculations, sketches, and diagrams, under the supervision of an experienced engineer. + Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. + Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. + Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision. **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural design or a structural engineering degree **Preferred Qualifications** + Knowledge of structural engineering design of reinforced concrete, steel, and timber. + Knowledge of statics, dynamics, and materials to understand and determine structural loads. + Technical Skills: + Capable of functioning with spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software. + Basic knowledge of industry standard software such as SAP2000, ANSYS, STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit, preferred but not required. + Prior knowledge of structural codes such as ACI 318, ACI 350, AISC Manual of Steel Construction, and ASCE 7 **Additional Information:** + Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
